-Principally we aim to allow more people the basic right to eat organic food, many families buy regularly from us, so our food has to be reasonably priced in order to make this possible -By popuilarisng the organic movement we hope to inspire more local growers to move into organic food as a viable means of sustainability - We aim to put people more in touch with their food by informing them of the origin of everything we sell, so even if they did not grow it themselves they can know who did or at least where it came from- We distribute literature to raise awareness concerning health and nutrition to Spanish and English reading people in the area- We offer the opportunity for everyone in the local area to sell or trade any surplus of food from their own gardens by prioritising their products when purchasing providing they give prior notice of what they intend to bring in, no matter how large or how small. |
